ADVANTAGES OF AN EXPERT WITNESS
- Role: Provides opinions or testimony in court based on their expertise.
- Purpose: Helps the judge or jury understand complex technical, scientific, or specialized issues.
- Disclosure: Their identity, qualifications, and opinions are disclosed to all parties in the litigation.
- Testimony: Can be deposed and may testify at trial under oath.
