Now providing virtual services for families and Professionals
We are looking for individuals who are passionate, curious, and open to growth in the area of forensic (court connected) services. The ideal supervisee, or professional who wishes mentoring, is someone who’s ready to engage in reflective practice, ask meaningful questions, and receive feedback with a growth mindset while interested in working with the population of families raising children between two homes.
A forensic social worker in family law applies social work principles to legal disputes, acting as a bridge between human services and the court system. They assess family situations, investigate allegations of abuse or neglect, and provide expert evaluations or testimony to help judges determine child custody, visitation, and child welfare cases. These professionals focus on advocacy, safety, and determining the best interests of the child. They can serve in a clinical role, providing therapy, or in an evaluative role such as a child custody evaluator or parenting facilitator.
